I added a new post this evening on the Alaska/North Pacific "Blob Tracker" Blog, discussing the potential for extraordinary warmth this summer in the North Pacific:
The positive NPM phase is correlated with unusual warmth in spring and summer, and generally moist conditions in the west of Alaska. I plan to look at this in more detail soon.
What might that warmth mean for us in Alaska?
